Waterfront and harbour
The town faces the sea around its harbour. The shoreline forms the main edge of the map and marks the island's link to the wider archipelago.

Sanana Map Poster & Print
Sanana is the capital of the Sula Islands Regency in North Maluku, Indonesia, on the island of the same name. The town lies along the coast, with its streets following the shoreline and the harbour at its heart. Behind it the land rises into forested interior hills, and the built area stays close to the flat coastal strip.
From above, the map shows a narrow, elongated settlement between the sea and the higher ground. A coastal road runs along the shore and links the town to villages elsewhere on the island. Short streets branch inland from it. The harbour and waterfront are the town's main connection to the rest of the Moluccas, with sea routes the usual way in and out.
A Sanana map poster presents this simple, strong geography: open water on one side, a ribbon of streets, then rising green land. It is a clear and quiet composition that suits people from the Sula Islands and anyone who knows life on the islands of eastern Indonesia.

Coastal ribbon
Streets stretch along the flat land by the shore. They form a long, narrow band of detail rather than a round town centre.
Rising interior
Behind the town, the forested hills are barely marked on the map. They leave a calm, open area that balances the busy coastline.
