Transport corridor
The railway and the main road from Baku run side by side through town. They form the backbone of the street plan and are the strongest lines on the poster.

La carte
Siyazan Map Poster & Print
Siyazan lies in northeastern Azerbaijan, on the narrow coastal lowland between the eastern slopes of the Greater Caucasus and the Caspian Sea. The main road and the railway from Baku to the Russian border both pass through here. The town is laid out along that corridor, with streets running parallel to the tracks and road and crossing them at intervals.
Oil has long been part of the local story. The Siyazan area has produced oil since the Soviet period, and the land around it is marked by wells, pipelines and service roads. On the map these appear as fine, straight lines across open ground, a contrast to the denser blocks and gardens of the town itself.
To the south, the coastline bends toward Beshbarmag mountain, a rocky peak that is a well-known pilgrimage site. The Caspian shore lies to the east across open ground. A Siyazan map poster focuses on the town and the coastal plain right around it, a quiet, linear composition shaped by the railway, the road and the direction of the sea.
