The map
Morrumbala lies in the interior of Zambezia Province, in the lowlands between the Zambezi and the Shire rivers. The town itself is compact: a handful of main roads meeting near the centre, with smaller streets and lanes spreading out into farmland. Beyond the built area the map opens up into broad, lightly marked country crossed by tracks and seasonal watercourses.
The district takes its name from Mount Morrumbala, an isolated massif that stands above the surrounding plain. On a topographic reading it shows as a solid mass close to town, a useful anchor in an otherwise flat landscape. To the west the Shire River marks the edge of the region on its way south to join the Zambezi.
A Morrumbala map poster is a study in contrast between a dense small core and wide surroundings. The centre gives the composition a clear focal point, while the roads leading out toward other towns of the province draw long lines across the paper. It is an understated image of an agricultural town in central Mozambique.

The massif stands out from the lowland plain close to town and gives the area a recognisable landmark, even though the poster itself stays focused on streets and water.
Long routes lead away across the countryside toward the rivers and neighbouring districts, drawing clean lines through otherwise open space.

Why Morrumbala
This map suits someone who lived, worked or grew up in Zambezia and wants a quiet reminder of it. The small centre and open surroundings make a restrained image that doesn't overwhelm a wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, a year or a short dedication, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring out the rural, earthy feel of the place.
