Ōguchi Map Poster
Ōguchi is a small town in Niwa District, Aichi Prefecture, in the northern part of the Nagoya metropolitan area. The ground here is part of the flat Nōbi Plain, and the map shows an even, closely built pattern. Narrow residential lanes weave between houses, small factories and remaining rice fields, and wider roads run through toward neighbouring towns.
The Gojō River runs through Ōguchi, and its banks are planted with long rows of cherry trees. These draw many visitors when they bloom each spring. On the map the river is a thin, slightly winding line crossing a grid of irregular blocks, one of the few features that breaks the flat, even texture of the plain.
