Ko e mape
Dubbo is a regional city in the Central West of New South Wales, on the banks of the Macquarie River. It has grown into one of the main service centres for inland NSW, and several major highways meet here, including the Newell and Mitchell. The surrounding country is flat to gently rolling farmland under wide skies.
On a map, the city's structure is clear. A grid of streets forms the older centre on the eastern side of the river, and newer suburbs extend in curved streets and crescents to the south and west. The Macquarie meanders through the city, with a broad corridor of parkland and floodplain along its banks, crossed by a handful of bridges.
A Dubbo map poster pairs this grid with the river. It also shows the large open spaces around the city, including the grounds of Taronga Western Plains Zoo, a well-known open-range zoo on the city's edge. The historic Old Dubbo Gaol sits in the centre. The map offers an honest portrait of a working inland city set in open country.
The river winds through the city in wide loops, bordered by green floodplain and parkland, forming the most organic line on the map.
The older centre is laid out in a regular grid of wide streets, typical of Australian country towns, with newer suburbs curving beyond it.
The large open-range grounds of Taronga Western Plains Zoo lie on the city's edge, appearing as a broad area of open space.

Ko e ha Dubbo
Dubbo is home to farming families, regional workers and people who moved to the country for space and community. A map of the city marks that choice of place, and makes a welcome gift for someone moving away from the Central West.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper are available with an optional wooden frame.
