The Envira River
The river runs along the edge of town in a smooth, looping line, the most organic shape on the poster and the historic route that connected Feijó to the rest of the region.

Ko e mape
Feijó lies on the banks of the Envira River in the interior of Acre, Brazil's westernmost state. The town is also a stop on the BR-364, the long highway that links Rio Branco with Cruzeiro do Sul, so on a map it sits where a road and a river meet. Its streets form a tight grid close to the water, surrounded on every side by forest.
Across Acre, Feijó is best known for its açaí, and the fruit gives the town its most familiar annual festival. The river has long been the working route of the region, carrying people and goods between riverside communities, and the curving line of the Envira contrasts sharply with the straight streets laid out along its bank.
A Feijó map poster shows exactly that meeting of order and nature: rectangular blocks, the highway approaching from the forest and the soft meander of the river beside them. It is a portrait of a small Amazonian town at the scale of its streets, something rarely printed and immediately recognisable to anyone who knows it.
The river runs along the edge of town in a smooth, looping line, the most organic shape on the poster and the historic route that connected Feijó to the rest of the region.
The centre is laid out in regular rectangular blocks close to the water, giving the map a clean geometric core framed by the river on one side.
The federal highway arrives through the forest and meets the town, a long straight stroke that marks Feijó's overland connection to the rest of Acre.
