Jatani is a town in Odisha's Khordha district, just south of Bhubaneswar. It is closely tied to the railway: Khurda Road Junction, one of the main junctions on India's east coast lines, lies here, and the town is often called by the station's name. On a map, the tracks are the most striking feature, running through the town as long parallel lines.
Around the junction, the streets are dense and irregular, with residential areas, railway colonies and markets packed close to the lines. The colonies tend to be more regular, with evenly spaced blocks. Past the edges of town, the pattern opens into paddy fields, small villages and tree cover typical of the coastal plain.
Roads link Jatani northward to the state capital and outward to the surrounding district, so the town reads as a meeting point for both roads and rail. A Jatani map poster captures that working character: tracks, platforms, lanes and fields, reduced to clean black lines.
Khurda Road Junction is the defining feature of the town. Several lines meet and fan out here, drawing bold straight lines through the town that stand out against the lanes around them.
Housing built for railway staff sits close to the tracks. These areas often have a more regular layout than the rest of town, which shows up as tidy blocks on the map.
Beyond the built-up area, the land opens into fields and villages on the Odisha plain. The pattern thins quickly at the edges, so the town reads as a compact cluster.

For railway families, and for anyone who grew up near the junction or passed through it many times, Jatani's map carries plenty of memories. The lines of track give the poster a strong graphic quality that works well on a wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to include a family name, a year or a personal note. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, with no watermark, in six print sizes.
