Kruševac lies in central Serbia, in the valley of the Rasina river close to where it meets the West Morava. In the fourteenth century it was the seat of Prince Lazar, who led the Serbian forces at the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. That period gives the town its best-known landmark, the Lazarica church, built within the fortified court complex.
From above, the historic core is centred on the remains of the medieval fortress and the church, with a park around them. The modern town spreads out from there across the valley floor, with a denser central grid and residential neighbourhoods reaching towards the surrounding hills. The Rasina runs along one side, giving the town a natural edge.
A Kruševac map poster brings together these layers: the green space around the old fortress, the regular streets of the centre, the curve of the river and the looser pattern of the outskirts climbing the slopes. It is a town of moderate size with a clear, readable structure, which makes it a strong subject for a minimal black-and-white print.

The river runs along the town and joins the West Morava nearby. Its curving course gives the composition a clear natural boundary.
The town fills the flat valley floor and rises into hills at the edges, where the grid gives way to winding streets and scattered houses.
