Ñemby lies just south of Asunción, within the metropolitan area of the Paraguayan capital. From above it is part of a continuous urban fabric, with streets running into neighbouring San Lorenzo, Lambaré and Fernando de la Mora. The land rises and falls gently, and residential blocks follow it in a loose grid.
