Ko e mape
Sidi Taibi sits on the low Atlantic plain of northwestern Morocco, a short distance south of Kénitra and within the wider orbit of the Rabat–Salé region. From above it reads as a dense, closely packed settlement: narrow lanes, small plots and courtyards filling almost every gap, with only a few wider roads cutting through to connect it to the surrounding towns and countryside.
Much of the town grew quickly in recent decades, and the map shows it. Instead of a single historic core with orderly extensions, the street pattern is a patchwork of neighbourhoods laid out at different angles, some on straight grids, others following old field boundaries. The edges are sharp, and cultivated land begins almost immediately where the houses stop.
That contrast between built texture and open ground is what makes a Sidi Taibi map poster work in monochrome. The fine grain of the housing turns into an almost solid tone, while the surrounding fields and the main roads leading toward Kénitra stay light and linear. It is an honest portrait of a working town rather than a postcard view.
Small plots and narrow lanes knit together so tightly that, at poster scale, the residential quarters read as a fine, even texture broken only by a handful of through roads.
Neighbourhoods laid out at slightly different angles meet along irregular seams, a trace of a town that expanded plot by plot rather than following one master plan.
The built area ends abruptly against cultivated land, so the outline of the town stands out unusually crisply against the flat, open Atlantic lowland around it.

Ko e ha Sidi Taibi
For people who grew up in Sidi Taibi or still have family there, this is a map of everyday routes: the walk to school, the market, the road out to Kénitra. It is a place rarely drawn with care, which makes a clean, precise print of it feel personal rather than generic.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps a family name or the year you moved, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital HD file costs $9, or order it printed on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
