Tagoloan lies in Misamis Oriental on the northern coast of Mindanao, east of Cagayan de Oro. The town is named after the Tagoloan River, which crosses the map from the south and flows into Macajalar Bay. From above, the river mouth and the coastline form the strongest lines, with the town's streets spread along the coastal road and the riverbanks.
The flat coastal land around Tagoloan has become an important industrial area for the region, with large port and industrial sites along the shore. On the map, these appear as broad, regular plots next to the smaller residential blocks, while farmland and higher ground stretch inland to the south.
A Tagoloan map poster captures the place where river, sea and town meet. The curving river and the straight coastline frame the composition, with the town's streets gathered between them. The mix of dense neighbourhoods, large industrial plots and open water makes for a map with clear, varied textures.
The river crosses the town and widens as it reaches the sea, forming the natural centre of the map and giving the town its name.
The northern edge of the map is the shoreline of Macajalar Bay, a long, clear line with open water beyond it.
Large, regular industrial and port sites along the shore contrast with the finer pattern of residential streets further inland.

The map is for families from Tagoloan, for workers who have spent years here, and for Filipinos abroad who want to see their home town clearly. The river and the bay give it a strong, recognisable shape.
