Wangjia is a town in Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country north of the main urban core. The landscape here is a series of low ridges and small valleys, and the town's layout follows them. Streets bend to stay on level ground, and development spreads in uneven lobes rather than a single compact block.
Because it lies within reach of the larger urban area, the map shows two scales side by side: older local streets that twist through the town, and broader, straighter roads that belong to the region's expanding network.
