Clevelândia Map Poster & Print
Clevelândia lies in the southwest of Paraná, on the high plateau that stretches across southern Brazil, near the border with Santa Catarina. The land is rolling rather than flat, with farmland, pasture and patches of forest. On a map the town appears as a regular grid of streets within a wide rural landscape.
The town's name has an unusual origin. It honors Grover Cleveland, the American president who settled a territorial dispute between Brazil and Argentina over the Palmas region in the 1890s. He ruled in Brazil's favor, and the town took his name in recognition, a small reminder of that international decision.
The center is laid out in straight blocks, and the roads leaving town follow the ridges and valleys of the plateau. A Clevelândia map poster shows that simple, orderly plan and the farmland around it. It is a portrait of a southern Brazilian town shaped by agriculture and by an episode of diplomatic history.

Plateau roads
Roads leaving town curve to follow the ridges and valleys of the plateau. Their softer lines contrast with the straight streets of the center.
Rural setting
Fields, pasture and forest patches surround the town. Rural roads cross them lightly, giving the poster a spacious and balanced frame.
