Compact urban areas
The district's streets form dense clusters surrounded by open ground, giving the map several distinct areas of detail rather than a single continuous centre.

Lingdong Map Poster & Print
Lingdong is a district of the city of Shuangyashan in Heilongjiang, China's northeastern province. From above, the area shows a mix of urban streets and surrounding open land, with the built-up areas forming compact clusters rather than one continuous city. Roads connect these clusters with the rest of Shuangyashan and with the countryside around it.
The wider region is known for coal mining and agriculture, and both leave their mark on the landscape. Fields extend across the flatter ground in broad rectangles, while low hills and valleys shape the course of roads and waterways. Railway lines, important for moving goods in this part of China, cross the area in long, steady curves.
A Lingdong map poster reflects the character of a working district in the far northeast. The streets are practical and direct, the edges open quickly into farmland and hills, and the overall composition has a quiet, spacious feel that suits the minimalist style of the print.
