De kaart
Pio Map Poster & Print
Pio lies on the western side of the Central Luzon plain, where the flat lowland starts to rise toward the mountains around Pinatubo. On a map it is a small settlement of roads and clustered houses, with farmland spreading around it and the land becoming more varied to the west.
Its pattern is looser than a planned town. Houses gather along roads and junctions, lanes branch off into fields, and river channels cross the area on their way to the lowlands. Broad, braided channels in this region are a lasting reminder of the volcanic sediment that has flowed down from the uplands.
A Pio map poster keeps the focus on that simple structure of roads, settlement and waterways. It is a small place, and at this scale the map is honest about it: a network of lanes on a plain, a few clusters of homes, and the landscape that shapes where people could build.

River channels
Waterways cross the area in broad, shifting courses, drawn as soft, uneven lines very different from the straight roads.
Upland edge
To the west, the land starts to rise toward the mountains, and the map's pattern of fields and roads gives way to rougher ground.
