The map
Novi Pazar lies in the Raška region of southwest Serbia, the historic area also known as Sandžak, in a valley ringed by hills. The town follows the Raška river and its tributaries, which meet near the centre. On the map, the built-up area stretches along the valley floors in a branching shape, and roads and houses climb the lower slopes on either side.
The old core was founded in the fifteenth century as an Ottoman trading town, and its name means new market. The centre still has a dense, irregular pattern of streets around the old bazaar, the fortress and the Altun-Alem Mosque. These contrast with the straighter roads and apartment blocks of later decades.
Just outside the town stands the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, regarded as the oldest church in Serbia. Nearby are the medieval site of Stari Ras and the Sopoćani monastery, both on the UNESCO World Heritage list. A Novi Pazar map poster captures this layered place in clear lines: rivers, valley streets and the old market core.
Several rivers meet in the town, and their valleys give Novi Pazar a branching outline on the map, with streets following the water in several directions.
The historic centre forms a dense tangle of short, irregular streets around the fortress and the mosque. This texture stands out against the newer, straighter districts.
Hills rise on all sides, so at the edges of the map roads wind upward and houses thin out. They frame the town with a soft natural border.

Why Novi Pazar
Novi Pazar is home for many families now spread across Western Europe and Turkey, and it draws visitors who come for its medieval heritage. A map of the town connects those stories, from the bazaar to the churches just outside it.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a family name or year, and keep the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the old market streets a gentle, historic feel.
