Nadodrze, meaning roughly beyond the Oder, is a district of Wrocław on the north bank of the river, facing the historic centre and the islands around Ostrów Tumski. Its map is defined by compact blocks of nineteenth and early twentieth-century tenements, set along short, regular streets, and by the channels of the Oder that curve along its southern edge.
The neighbourhood grew as a working-class quarter and kept much of its prewar building stock. In recent years it has become known for revitalised courtyards, small studios, cafes and craft workshops, while the Wrocław Nadodrze railway station gives the district its own rail link. Bridges tie it directly to the old town, so it feels both separate and close.

Closed blocks of prewar tenements form a dense, regular grid of short streets, typical of the rapid urban growth of the late nineteenth century.
