The map
Paulínia lies in the Campinas metropolitan region of São Paulo state, on the banks of the Atibaia River. On a map the city divides clearly. On one side are residential districts with wide avenues and fairly regular blocks. Next to them is a huge industrial area dominated by the Replan refinery and petrochemical plants, whose tanks and pipe corridors form a strikingly geometric pattern.
The Replan refinery, run by Petrobras, is one of the largest in Brazil and has shaped the city's economy since the 1970s. Paulínia has also invested in culture, with a large municipal theatre and a film production centre that has hosted a film festival. Highways connect it quickly to Campinas and the rest of the state.
A Paulínia map poster reveals an unusual combination: the winding Atibaia with its green banks, the curved and straight streets of the city and the precise lines of the industrial plants. In black and white, those technical shapes read almost like an abstract drawing.

The river winds past the city in loose meanders. A green strip of vegetation along its banks separates the neighbourhoods from the farmland.
Central Paulínia has wide avenues and open spaces, and newer residential areas are laid out in regular blocks that stretch toward the highways.

Why Paulínia
Many people come to Paulínia to work in industry, research or culture, and some stay for decades. A map of the city is a fine reminder of those years, and its mix of natural and technical lines looks especially strong on a wall.
You can customise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the engineered geometry of the refinery, while Classic black & white keeps things simple. Each HD purchase covers six print sizes, and you can order matte prints with a wooden frame.
