The map
Payshamba Shahri lies in the Samarqand Region of Uzbekistan, in the fertile Zarafshan valley. Its name is based on the Uzbek word for Thursday, a common reference to a traditional market day in the region. From above, the town shows the pattern of an old market settlement that has grown steadily in all directions.
The centre has denser streets and a few main roads, which lead out towards the surrounding villages and the regional road network. Around them, courtyard houses with gardens form a softer texture. Beyond the town, irrigation channels and field strips cover the valley floor in long, almost parallel lines.
A Payshamba Shahri map poster brings together these two layers. The organic grain of the town sits against the ordered pattern of the farmland. In black and white, the canals and roads make a clear, rhythmic design. It is a quiet but meaningful image for anyone who knows the valley.

Residential areas are made up of small blocks of houses with gardens and courtyards. They create a fine, soft texture around the centre.
Irrigation channels cross the valley in long lines between fields and orchards. Their repeated shapes form a calm, geometric frame around the town.
