The map

About this Pemalang map poster

Pemalang is a regency seat on the north coast of Central Java, between Tegal and Pekalongan. The town sits on a low coastal plain, and its map is shaped by two directions: the main east–west coast road, part of Java's historic northern route, and the shorter roads that run north toward the shoreline and south toward farmland and the mountains.

Beyond the compact centre the street pattern loosens quickly into villages, irrigated rice fields and small waterways. To the south the land rises gradually toward the volcanic highlands around Mount Slamet, the highest peak in Central Java, though the town itself remains flat and close to sea level throughout.

A Pemalang map poster is a spare, open composition: a firm horizontal spine of road, a denser cluster of streets around the town centre and a scattering of lanes fading out into fields. The coastline adds a clean edge in the north. It is a modest, honest portrait of a coastal town that many travellers only know from the road.

01

North coast road

The main east–west road across Java's northern coast runs through the town, forming the strongest horizontal line on the map and tying Pemalang to its neighbours.

02

Java Sea shoreline

To the north the land meets the Java Sea along a low, gently curving coast, giving the poster a calm boundary against open water.

03

Rice-field edges

Outside the centre, streets thin into village lanes and paths between irrigated fields, a fine, scattered texture that softens the edges of the composition.

Why Pemalang

A map that means something

People from Pemalang who have moved to Jakarta, Semarang or abroad often want a reminder of the town itself rather than of Java in general. A precise street map does that quietly, marking the roads to school, market and home.

The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can add a family name or a meaningful date. Choose among five styles, including Classic black & white, Noir and Sand, and receive 300 DPI PNG and PDF files, or order a matte printed poster.
