The map
Prilep sits where the flat Pelagonia plain meets a line of rocky hills, and the map makes that meeting obvious. To the south and west, the land is open and divided into fields. To the north, the terrain rises sharply toward the fortress ruins known as Markovi Kuli, the Towers of Prince Marko, a medieval stronghold on a granite ridge above the town.
The town itself spreads outward from an old bazaar quarter, with narrow streets near the centre and broader, more regular blocks further out. Roads leave in all directions across the plain, linking Prilep to Bitola, Veles and the surrounding villages. The white marble quarried in the hills nearby has been used in buildings and sculpture well beyond the region.
Prilep is also known as the centre of North Macedonia's tobacco growing, and the fields around it have long been part of that trade. A Prilep map poster captures the town between two landscapes, rock and plain, with the old centre in the middle and the ridge of Markovi Kuli rising just beyond the streets.
North of the town, the ridge crowned by the ruins of Prince Marko's fortress shows as a cluster of contours and paths, the dominant landmark on this part of the map.
The historic market quarter at the centre keeps a denser, more irregular street pattern than the surrounding neighbourhoods, marking the oldest part of the town.
South and west, the broad plain opens up in long agricultural parcels crossed by straight roads, a calm contrast to the rocky ground behind the town.

Why Prilep
For people from Prilep, the map shows the view they grew up with: the town spread below the towers and the plain running off toward the horizon. It is a meaningful gift for anyone living abroad with family still in Pelagonia.
The title and subtitle can be written in your own words, whether a surname, a year or a street, and the coordinates line can be edited too. Five styles are offered; Noir sets the pale streets against dark ground, which suits the rocky hills well.
