The map
Radovis, also written Radoviš, is a town in the south-east of North Macedonia at the foot of the Plačkovica mountain range. It lies where a river leaves the hills and enters a wider valley. The map shows a compact urban area gathered around the watercourse, with farmland stretching south and forested slopes rising to the north.
The older part of town has narrow, irregular streets typical of Balkan settlements, while newer districts are laid out on straighter lines. The river runs through the centre, crossed by several bridges, and acts as a natural spine for the plan. Around the edge, fields form a patchwork of long plots that reflects the valley's long farming tradition.
A Radovis map poster captures the town where mountain meets plain. The contrast between the dense centre and the open valley gives the composition balance, and the slopes to the north add depth. It is a modest town, but its setting makes for a clear and memorable map.
North of town, the land rises toward Plačkovica. The slopes appear as a sparse area of tracks and streams that frames the town from above.
A river flows through the centre, crossed by bridges and lined by streets. It divides the town into distinct parts and gives the map a clear axis.
South of the town, the valley opens into fields divided into long, narrow plots. Their pattern creates a regular texture around the urban edge.
