Osowa is a district on the western side of Gdańsk, on the higher, wooded ground above the city's historic centre and coastline. It is mostly residential. On a map, the neighbourhood reads as a network of short, curving streets and small housing estates, closely bordered by the forests of the Tricity Landscape Park.
The Tricity bypass, the expressway around Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia, runs near the district and forms a strong, straight line against the softer local streets. Small lakes and wetland areas in and around Osowa add organic shapes, and the forest gives the design a large, calm open area.
