The map
Sabaa Aiyoun lies on the fertile Saïs plain in northern Morocco, between the imperial cities of Meknes and Fes. The name is usually translated as seven springs, a reminder of the water that has long made this plain productive. On a map the town is compact, with a modest grid of streets and the main routes linking the two larger cities passing close by.
All around, the land is agricultural. Fields and orchards spread in broad parcels, and rural tracks divide them into loose patterns. From above, the town looks like a dense knot of streets set within a wide, open landscape. The main transport corridors run across it in long, nearly straight lines toward Meknes in one direction and Fes in the other.
A Sabaa Aiyoun map poster is a calm, spacious composition. The town's streets carry most of the detail, and the plain around them provides generous white space. It suits anyone from the town or the wider Meknes region who wants a map of home that looks nothing like the crowded medina maps of the nearby cities.

Major routes between the two historic cities pass by the town. They appear as long, confident lines running across the map from west to east.
The town's streets form a tight, mostly regular pattern. That concentrated core becomes the natural focal point of the design.
