The map
Teck Whye is a residential neighbourhood in the Choa Chu Kang area of western Singapore. From above, it reads as a carefully planned estate: rows of public housing blocks arranged along curving access roads, with car parks, playgrounds and small green courts filling the spaces between them. The order is deliberate and very typical of Singapore's HDB towns.
The elevated Bukit Panjang LRT runs through the estate and has a station named Teck Whye, linking residents to Choa Chu Kang and the wider rail network. Around the edges, larger roads and patches of green separate the neighbourhood from its neighbours, giving it a clear and recognisable outline.
A Teck Whye map poster is for those who see beauty in planned living. The repeated block shapes, the gentle loops of the service roads and the thin line of the LRT viaduct create a rhythmic pattern that looks almost graphic in black and white. It is an everyday landscape rendered with care.

The light rail line curves through the estate on its viaduct, with Teck Whye station marking a local point of connection.
Planted buffers and open green spaces frame the neighbourhood, separating it from the surrounding estates and larger arterial roads.

Why Teck Whye
Many Singaporeans grew up in estates like Teck Whye, and the precise block where a family lived matters. A map of the neighbourhood captures that personal geography, the walk to the LRT, the courtyard, the corner shop.
Add a title such as a block number or family name, a subtitle with a date, and the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download HD files in six sizes for $9.
