The map
Toshbuloq lies in Namangan Region, on the northern side of the Fergana Valley, one of the most densely farmed corners of Central Asia. On a map the town is surrounded by the valley's typical pattern: long straight roads, narrow parcels of land and a web of irrigation channels carrying mountain water across the plain.
The town's own layout is practical and open. Main roads run through it in broad lines, and residential blocks fill the spaces between them, often edged by the long courtyard plots common across the valley. Beyond the last houses the pattern changes to fields and orchards divided by canals, and further north the land starts to rise toward the ranges that close the valley.
A Toshbuloq map poster brings out that contrast between the settled centre and the finely divided farmland around it. In black and white, the canals and field edges become a delicate linework, while the town's roads stand out as heavier strokes. The result is a quiet, structured image of a place shaped by water and cultivation.
Canals and ditches spread across the surrounding plain, and on the map they form thin lines that run alongside roads and split the land into long, narrow plots.
Residential streets are lined with deep, narrow lots, giving the town's blocks a fine striped texture typical of Fergana Valley settlements.
Toshbuloq sits on the valley's northern side, where flat irrigated land begins to give way to rising ground toward the mountains.

Why Toshbuloq
The map suits anyone with roots in Namangan Region, or anyone drawn to the way farmland and settlement fit together in the Fergana Valley. It shows the town as a clear pattern rather than a list of places.
