The map
Ucu Seles lies in the interior uplands of Kwanza Sul province in western Angola, inland from the Atlantic coast. On a map, the town is small and fairly open. A handful of main roads meet near the centre, and houses and smaller streets spread out along them before giving way to farmland and open ground. The pattern is shaped by roads and terrain rather than by a formal plan.
The Seles area belongs to the upland zone of Kwanza Sul that is associated with coffee growing, and the landscape around the town is agricultural. The map reflects that: beyond the built-up centre, the network thins quickly into tracks and rural roads that head out towards farms and neighbouring settlements across the hills.
An Ucu Seles map poster keeps things honest and uncluttered. With fewer lines on the page, the main routes stand out, and the way the town gathers around its junctions becomes the subject of the design. In black and white, the contrast between the settled core and the open land around it gives the poster a quiet, spacious feel.

Ucu Seles sits in the rolling interior uplands of Kwanza Sul, and the road network bends with the terrain as it leaves town.
Beyond the centre, streets thin out into rural tracks and farmland, leaving generous white space that frames the settlement on the page.
