Te mapa
Acajutiba lies in the northeast of Bahia, some distance inland from the Atlantic coast, in the countryside between the Recôncavo region and the border with Sergipe. On the map it appears as a compact town. A small grid of streets gathers around a central square, and roads lead out across farmland toward neighbouring municipalities.
The land around the town is gently rolling, with pasture, small farms and patches of remaining vegetation. Beyond the urban edge, rural roads and tracks follow the terrain in soft curves. The regular blocks of the centre stand out against this looser pattern and form a clear focal point for the composition.
The name comes from Tupi and is usually read as a reference to an abundance of cashew trees. An Acajutiba map poster presents the town simply and accurately: a small centre, the roads that connect it and the open land around it. It is a modest, personal portrait of a place that rarely appears on maps of its own.
A compact arrangement of streets around the main square forms the heart of the town and remains clear and legible at every print size.
Roads and tracks leave the town in several directions, crossing farmland and linking Acajutiba with the surrounding region.
Pasture and small holdings surround the town, giving the edges of the map an open, lightly textured look.
