Te mapa
Adjaouèrè lies in the Plateau department of southeastern Benin, a region of farmland and scattered settlements not far from the border with Nigeria. From above, the town shows a compact centre where the main roads meet, with paths and smaller streets branching out into cultivated land.
The map here is less about monuments and more about pattern. Housing clusters along the routes, open plots fill the gaps, and the outer edges fade gradually into fields rather than stopping at a hard line. It is a form common to many market towns in the region, shaped by movement between villages and farms.
An Adjaouèrè map poster keeps that quiet structure in view. Rendered in black and white, the few main roads become the strongest marks on the page, with the finer network of tracks drawn around them. It is a simple composition, and it suits a place that is best known to the people who live there or come from there.
The main routes meet near the centre of town and give the map its basic shape, with most buildings lining up along them.
Instead of ending in a sharp boundary, the town thins out into fields and tracks, which gives the poster a soft, open border.
The town belongs to Benin's Plateau department, a largely rural region close to the Nigerian border, and the map reflects that agricultural character.
