Te mapa
Al Manqaf is a coastal town in Kuwait's Al Ahmadi Governorate, on the Gulf shore south of Kuwait City, between Abu Halifa and Fahaheel. Its map is strikingly orderly: residential blocks laid out in regular rectangles, divided by straight internal roads and edged by larger arteries.
The coastline forms the eastern boundary, a clean line where the planned blocks meet the sea, with beachfront and seaside developments running along it. Inland, wide highways parallel the shore, carrying traffic between the capital and the oil towns and industrial areas to the south.
Like much of Kuwait's coastal belt, Al Manqaf grew quickly as a planned residential area in the second half of the twentieth century, and the map reflects that deliberate design. A Al Manqaf map poster turns the town's disciplined geometry, set against the curve of the Gulf, into a clean graphic composition.
The coast runs along the eastern edge as a clean line, with seafront buildings and beaches marking where the town meets the water.
Residential areas are divided into regular numbered blocks, creating a precise, almost modular pattern that reads well in black and white.
Broad highways run parallel to the shore, linking Al Manqaf with Kuwait City to the north and the Ahmadi area to the south.

Koteā ko Al Manqaf
Many residents, including long-term expatriates, spend formative years in Al Manqaf before moving on. A map of the town's blocks and shoreline is a precise, understated reminder of a home by the Gulf.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a block number, a family name or the years you lived here, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
