Te mapa
Anyama sits at the northern edge of the Abidjan metropolitan area, about twenty kilometres from the lagoon. The ground here is more rolling than on the coast. From above, the town appears as a cluster of neighbourhoods threaded along ridges and roads, bordered by patches of forest and plantation land.
The main road to the north and the railway toward the interior pass through the town. They give the map its clearest structural lines. Around them, informal streets branch in many directions, following slopes and property lines rather than a planned grid.
Anyama has long been a market town for the surrounding farming region. It is closely tied to Abidjan through daily commuting. An Anyama map poster captures that in-between character: part city, part countryside, with the built-up area thinning as it meets the green belt around it.
The main road through town forms the spine of the map. Most of the busier streets and markets gather along it before the neighbourhoods spread out on either side.
Away from the main routes, streets curve and fork with the terrain. This creates an irregular, finely branched network that looks quite different from the planned districts of central Abidjan.
Forest and cultivated land surround the town. On the poster they read as open space pressing in from every edge, which gives the composition a natural frame.

Koteā ko Anyama
For families from Anyama, or those who moved there from elsewhere in Côte d'Ivoire, this map is a quiet way to keep the town on the wall. It is also a thoughtful gift for someone who has left the Abidjan area for work or study abroad.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised with a name, a date or a short phrase in French. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
