Te mapa
Daoukro is a regional town in central-eastern Côte d'Ivoire, in a landscape of low hills, patches of forest and plantations. Its map shows a centre where the main routes meet, a loose grid of residential streets around it, and unpaved roads that become thinner and more scattered as they reach the farmland and villages on the outskirts.
The area has long depended on cocoa and coffee farming, which shaped both its economy and the scatter of settlements around the town. Daoukro is also widely associated with Henri Konan Bédié, the former president, whose home region this is, and that connection brought the town national attention over several decades.
A Daoukro map poster works as a portrait of a West African market town: a dense crossroads at the heart, blocks spreading along the roads and the countryside pressing in at every edge. In black and white, the contrast between the built core and the open land around it is especially clear.
The main roads meet near the centre of town, where the street network is densest and the market district forms the heart of the composition.
Around the core, neighbourhoods are laid out in loose rectangular blocks that grow more irregular toward the edges as the town expands outward.
Routes leaving town thin into rural tracks linking villages and plantations, drawing fine lines across the open space at the margins of the poster.

Koteā ko Daoukro
Many families from the Lacs district have settled in Abidjan or overseas while keeping close links with home. A map of Daoukro is a way to hold on to that connection, specific enough to recognise and simple enough for any room.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, adding a family name or a date that matters. Five styles are available, from Classic black & white to Sand, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
