Te mapa
Abengourou is a regional centre in the east of Ivory Coast, not far from the border with Ghana. The town lies in gently rolling country that was once dense forest and is now largely given over to plantations, and its street pattern spreads outward from a central area in a loose, irregular way.
It is the traditional seat of the Agni kingdom of Indénié, and the royal court remains an important institution in the town. Abengourou is also a hub for the surrounding cocoa and coffee growing region, and its markets and roads reflect that role as a place where produce is gathered and traded.
An Abengourou map poster shows a town growing into its landscape: a denser centre with the main market streets, residential quarters extending along the roads, and unpaved tracks fading out into farmland. It is an honest portrait of a working regional town, meaningful to anyone connected with the east of the country.
The busiest streets gather around the town centre, where market activity and main roads meet, forming the densest part of the poster.
Routes leaving Abengourou toward the east and the Ghanaian border carry trade traffic and stretch the town's outline along their length.
Residential neighbourhoods extend outward over the low hills with irregular streets and tracks, giving the map a soft, organic edge.

Koteā ko Abengourou
For people from Abengourou or the Indénié region, the map is a quiet way to hold on to home: the market, the familiar roads, the neighbourhood where family still lives. It works well in both homes and offices.
