Te mapa
Arayat takes its name from Mount Arayat, the extinct volcano that rises alone from the flat plains of Central Luzon. On a map, the mountain changes everything. The town's streets gather on the lower ground at its base, while the slopes themselves remain largely empty, forming a large, rounded void on one side of the composition.
The Pampanga River runs close by, winding through the low country on its way to Manila Bay. Its loops and old channels add a second natural feature to the map. Between mountain and river lies farmland, crossed by roads that link Arayat with neighbouring towns. An Arayat map poster brings together these three layers: volcano, river and the town on the plain between them.
Mount Arayat and its surroundings are protected as a national park, and the mountain is a popular hiking destination. It is also a strong presence in local folklore, particularly as the legendary home of the diwata Mariang Sinukuan. In black and white, the mountain doesn't need contour shading to be recognisable. The way the roads curve around it is enough.
The solitary volcano sits beside the town as a wide, mostly empty area. Streets wrap around its lower slopes and outline its shape without climbing it.
The river meanders across the plain close to the town. Its curves and bends give the flat landscape a flowing, natural line.
The town centre spreads across level ground beneath the slopes. Its streets are denser near the foot of the mountain and thin out towards the fields.

Koteā ko Arayat
Anyone from Central Luzon knows the silhouette of Mount Arayat. A map of the town beneath it makes a meaningful gift for those who grew up in its shadow or climbed it, and it works as a quiet reminder of home.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name, a hike date or a barangay, and keep the coordinates underneath. Choose from five styles, from Classic black and white to the darker, more dramatic Noir.
