Te mapa
Arewusitang lies in the Ili valley of northern Xinjiang, in the broad, fertile lowland near Yining that opens westward toward Kazakhstan. The valley is one of the greener corners of the region, fed by rivers from the Tian Shan, and the map reflects that: long straight roads, parcels of farmland and settlements strung along routes rather than packed into a dense centre.
Places like this are defined by agriculture and irrigation more than by a single town square. Channels and field boundaries create a pattern of repeating rectangles, occasionally interrupted by a watercourse or a larger road running across the valley. It is a landscape where the logic of water and fields shows directly in the lines on the map.
An Arewusitang map poster turns that working landscape into a calm geometric design. Thin parallel roads, the edges of fields and the occasional curve of a river combine into something close to an abstract print, with the settlement itself appearing as a slightly denser patch within the valley grid.
Straight roads divide the land into long rectangular parcels, a repeating pattern that gives the poster the look of a carefully ruled drawing.
Channels carrying water from the mountain rivers run alongside roads and fields, adding fine parallel lines that reveal how the valley is farmed.
The settlement sits on the wide floor of the Ili valley, one of the most fertile parts of Xinjiang, fed by rivers descending from the Tian Shan.
