Te mapa
Autlán de Navarro sits in a wide agricultural valley in southern Jalisco, between the highlands and the Pacific coast. The map shows a classic Mexican town plan. A regular grid of streets extends in every direction from the central square, gradually loosening at the edges into newer neighbourhoods and fields.
Internationally, the town is best known as the birthplace of guitarist Carlos Santana. Across Jalisco it is also known for its annual carnival. To the south rises the Sierra de Manantlán, a biosphere reserve of forested mountains, which frames the valley and gives the region its distinctive landscape.
An Autlán de Navarro map poster emphasises the order of that grid. The squared blocks around the centre create a strong, rhythmic pattern, while the surrounding roads and field boundaries show how the town sits within its valley. It is a clean, balanced image that works equally well in light and dark styles.
Streets meet at right angles around the main square. This clear, regular pattern is the town's most recognisable feature from above.
The town occupies level ground in a broad valley. Farmland spreads outward from it before the terrain begins to rise toward the surrounding mountains.
Autlán lies on the highway linking Guadalajara with the Pacific coast near Barra de Navidad. The route forms a strong line across the map.
