Te mapa
Bah-Bah lies in the Caraga region of northeastern Mindanao, in the Philippines, within the broad lowland drained by the Agusan River and its tributaries. From above, the settled area appears as a network of roads and houses set among rice fields, plantations and patches of forest, with streams and irrigation channels winding through the landscape.
The community is part of the municipality of Prosperidad in Agusan del Sur, whose town centre serves as the provincial capital. Farming dominates the local economy, and the region's wet climate and fertile soils support crops across the valley. Low hills and higher forested ground rise toward the edges of the lowland.
A Bah-Bah map poster reads as a landscape as much as a street plan. Roads follow the higher ground, homes line them in loose strands, and fields and waterways fill the spaces between. The result is a soft, organic composition, very different from the dense grids of larger Philippine cities.
The area lies in the wide basin of the Agusan River, and the flat terrain gives the map an open, spacious feel crossed by streams.
Houses and buildings follow the main roads in loose lines, forming slender strands of detail that trace how the community has grown.
Rice fields, plantations and remaining forest patches surround the settled area, adding varied shapes and textures toward the edges of the poster.
