Te mapa
Manolo Fortich sits high on the northern edge of the Bukidnon plateau in Mindanao. From above, the town centre looks like a short cluster of streets along the main highway that climbs inland from the coast. Around it the land opens into broad, regular plantation blocks separated by farm roads. The pattern is loose and rural, very different from the dense coastal cities below.
The municipality is known for its pineapple plantations, which have long shaped the local economy, and for its cool upland air. On a map this appears as large geometric parcels crossed by service tracks, broken where rivers have cut steep ravines into the plateau. Those canyons show up as thin, winding lines that pull the eye away from the straight roads.
A Manolo Fortich map poster shows how a highway town and a farmed plateau fit together. It has no grand grid or historic core. What you see is a practical layout of roads, fields and gorges, and it reads well in black and white, where the contrast between straight field edges and irregular river valleys is at its clearest.
The main road climbing from the coast runs through the centre of town, and most of the built-up streets branch from it in short, uneven spurs.
Wide cultivated parcels form large rectilinear blocks around the town, outlined by farm roads that give the poster a quiet, almost graphic texture.
Rivers have cut deep, winding channels into the plateau, and their curving lines interrupt the straight lines of fields and roads.

Koteā ko Manolo Fortich
This poster suits someone with roots in Bukidnon, or anyone who has driven up from the coast into the cooler highlands. It records a place defined by land and elevation rather than monuments, which makes it a personal, understated piece for a wall.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a date, and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand and Paper suit the agricultural landscape particularly well.
