Te mapa
Ban Dung is the seat of a district in the north of Udon Thani province, on the Khorat Plateau of northeastern Thailand. The countryside is flat and agricultural: rice paddies, fish ponds and small villages connected by straight rural roads. The town forms a small, dense centre in this open landscape.
The district is widely known for Kham Chanot, a forested island shrine linked to legends of the naga. Pilgrims from across the country visit it, and it gives Ban Dung a reputation far beyond its size.
A Ban Dung map poster frames the town as it really is: a tight grid of shophouse streets and sois, a few main roads leaving for the villages and district towns nearby, and a wide field of paddies and ponds around it. It is an understated, well-balanced composition.
Shophouse rows and small sois form a compact grid in the middle of town, the most detailed area on the poster.
Rice fields and water bodies surround the town. They create a soft, irregular pattern that contrasts with the straight streets.
Straight roads link Ban Dung to surrounding villages and toward Udon Thani and give the sheet a clear outward structure.

Koteā ko Ban Dung
For families from upper Isan now working in Bangkok or abroad, Ban Dung stands for home, harvest and temple festivals. A poster of its streets brings that place into the room in a simple, modern form.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
