Te mapa
Ban Tak is a district town in Tak province, western Thailand, on the Ping River. The river is the most prominent feature on the map, a broad, curving band with the town's streets laid out along its bank. Beyond the settlement, paddy fields and orchards occupy the flat land near the water, while wooded hills rise farther away.
The Ping is one of the main rivers of northern Thailand, and settlements along it have long depended on it for water, farming and transport. Ban Tak serves as a local centre for surrounding villages, with roads following the river valley and crossing it to reach communities on the other side.
A Ban Tak map poster centres on that relationship between town and river. The smooth curve of the Ping, the compact streets beside it and the field patterns beyond combine into a balanced, calm composition, a portrait of a small Thai river town.
The Ping River curves past the town in a wide band, and its shape anchors the entire map, with streets and fields arranged along it.
The town's main streets run parallel to the river bank, forming a narrow, elongated settlement that follows the water.
Paddy fields and orchards fill the flat land along the river, their small plots creating a fine texture between the town and the hills.
