Te mapa
Ban Talat Bueng lies inland in Chon Buri province, part of the Eastern Seaboard, one of Thailand's main industrial and port regions. The name suggests a market town beside a pond or marsh, and the map reflects a place that has grown well beyond that origin.
From above you can see several layers at once. Main roads carry traffic toward the coast and the industrial areas. Narrow sois branch off them into housing, and the rectangular footprints of factories and warehouses sit near areas that are still farmland or plantation. The Gulf of Thailand coast lies to the west, outside the immediate town area.
A Ban Talat Bueng map poster shows that mix clearly. There is fine, irregular village fabric and there are large planned blocks. Main roads and sois follow different logics. The overall pattern is typical of eastern Thailand's fast-growing towns, and in black and white it reads as a set of contrasting textures.
Narrow lanes branch off the main roads into residential pockets. The result is a fine, branching pattern very different from a regular grid.
The large rectangular plots of factories and logistics sites appear as bold shapes. They show how the Eastern Seaboard has changed the land.
Ponds and small bodies of water appear among the streets and fields. They connect with the town's name and break up the built-up areas.
