Bang Len lies in the northern part of Nakhon Pathom province, on the flat lowlands of the central Thai delta. There is almost no relief here, and the map is shaped by water and agriculture. Canals cut long, straight lines across the land, and roads and field boundaries follow them. Together they divide the countryside into long rectangles.
The Tha Chin River runs through the district, winding across the plain in contrast to the straight canals. Settlements line the river and the main roads, forming thin strips of houses rather than compact towns. The centre of Bang Len is one of these small nodes, where a few roads meet close to the water.
A Bang Len map poster is almost a geometric drawing. The ruled lines of the canals and the curves of the river create a pattern that looks planned and natural at the same time.
