Te mapa
Bang Sue is a district in the north of Bangkok. The Chao Phraya River forms its western edge, and on a map the river's wide curve gives the district one of its clearest boundaries. From the riverbank, a dense network of streets and lanes runs inland. It is crossed by canals that follow older lines through the neighbourhoods.
The most striking feature from above is the railway. Long bundles of track and sidings run through the district, converging on Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal. The station opened as Bang Sue Grand Station and is now Bangkok's main rail hub. Its huge footprint and the yards around it form a band of parallel lines that cuts across the smaller street pattern.
A Bang Sue map poster captures this mix of infrastructure and daily life. The tracks sweep through in long, straight strokes, the canals thread through the neighbourhoods, and the river frames it all to the west. It is a district defined as much by movement as by where people live, and that shows clearly in black and white.
Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal and its approach tracks are the dominant shape in the district. On the map they are a broad band of parallel lines gathering toward one enormous station building.
The river bends along Bang Sue's western side and marks the district's edge with a strong, wide curve. Roads and lanes run down to the water between buildings.
Canals cross the district and follow routes older than many of its roads. On a poster they are thin, irregular lines woven through the dense residential grid.

Koteā ko Bang Sue
Bang Sue is where many journeys through Thailand now begin, and for people who live in its neighbourhoods it is simply home. A map shows the district's odd, layered geometry in a way the street level never does.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a date or a line of your own, and adjust the coordinates. Choose one of five styles. Noir gives the tracks a night-time quality, and Paper feels softer and warmer on the wall.
