Te mapa
Bédiala lies in the west-central part of Ivory Coast, in the Haut-Sassandra area around Daloa. From above it appears as a compact town: a handful of main roads meet at the centre, and shorter streets and lanes branch off between houses, markets and gardens.
This is agricultural country, part of the belt where cocoa and coffee have long mattered to the local economy. Around the town the map opens into a patchwork of fields, plantations and wooded ground crossed by unpaved tracks connecting surrounding villages.
A Bédiala map poster is a simple, honest image of a working town. There is no grand plan or famous monument here, just the shape of streets as people use them every day, fading into the landscape that sustains them. In black and white the irregular tracks stand out as fine, drawn lines.
The main roads converge at the heart of town, giving the map a clear centre from which the rest of the street network spreads.
Smaller streets follow the ground and the plots rather than a grid, producing an irregular, hand-drawn texture across the residential areas.
Beyond the last houses, tracks lead out through fields and wooded land toward neighbouring villages, framing the town in open countryside.

Koteā ko Bédiala
For people from Bédiala, including those who now live elsewhere in Ivory Coast or abroad, this map is a direct link to home. It shows the streets they know without decoration, which is exactly why it feels personal.
You can add a family name, a date or a dedication in the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand, and download the files or order a printed poster.
