Te mapa
Beni Khalled lies on the Cap Bon peninsula in northeastern Tunisia, in Nabeul Governorate. It is known for its oranges, and the town is closely associated with Tunisian citrus growing, especially the prized Maltaise variety. From above, the orchards are the defining feature: small walled or hedged plots pressed tightly around the town.
The town has a compact centre of close streets, and roads leave it toward neighbouring towns across the peninsula. Beyond the built-up area, the land splits into a fine mosaic of groves and farm tracks, a pattern that looks intricate on a monochrome print.
A Beni Khalled map poster puts that agricultural setting at the centre. For people with family land in the orchards, or anyone who associates the place with the orange harvest, the combination of dense town and fine field pattern is instantly familiar.
Small, tightly packed plots of orange groves surround the town, creating a detailed mosaic of boundaries and farm tracks across much of the map.
The older streets draw close together at the heart of the town, forming a dense knot that contrasts with the regular pattern of the fields.
Main roads link Beni Khalled with other Cap Bon towns, running as clear lines through the orchards toward the coast and the interior.
