Te mapa
Biloxi occupies a long peninsula on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, with Mississippi Sound to the south and the Back Bay of Biloxi to the north. From above, the city is a strip of streets between two bodies of water, with bridges crossing the bay at its eastern end and Deer Island lying just offshore.
The shoreline is defined by US 90, the beach highway, which runs alongside a long stretch of man-made sand beach. The Biloxi Lighthouse, standing since 1848, sits in the middle of the road's median. Casino resorts line much of the waterfront, while Keesler Air Force Base takes up a large area of the peninsula's western side.
Biloxi rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which caused severe damage along the coast. A Biloxi map poster shows the city's close relationship with water: the Sound, the bay, the bayous and marinas, with the street grid fitted into the narrow land between them.
US 90 follows the southern shore beside a long sandy beach, one of the clearest lines on the map and the city's main waterfront axis.
The bay forms the northern edge of the peninsula, with bridges, marinas and bayous shaping the shoreline where the city meets the water.
The base takes up a large portion of the western peninsula, its runway and planned layout standing apart from the surrounding residential grid.

Koteā ko Biloxi
Biloxi appeals to people who have lived on the Gulf Coast, served at Keesler or spent summers on the beach. The map shows a city shaped entirely by water, which gives the print a strong, clear outline.
Add a title, subtitle and date, perhaps for a posting or a family move, and choose from five styles. Sand works well for a coastal city. The HD files are $9, and printed posters with an optional frame ship from partners in 30+ countries.
