Te mapa
Bỉm Sơn sits at the northern edge of Thanh Hóa Province, where the Red River delta lowlands give way to the first limestone ridges. From above, the town is a narrow band of streets pressed between rice fields and wooded hills. National Route 1A and the North–South railway run through it side by side, and much of the street pattern follows them.
The town is best known for its cement industry. Quarries and plant buildings cut pale shapes into the hills on the edge of the built-up area, and access roads loop out towards them. Closer to the centre, the streets form a looser grid of residential blocks, markets and schools. Small ponds and irrigation channels fill the gaps between them.
A Bỉm Sơn map poster shows a town that grew up around a transport corridor and a heavy industry. The long spine of road and rail, the tighter blocks in the middle and the open ground at the edges make a clear, honest composition in black and white. It reads as a working town, and nothing is added to dress it up.
National Route 1A and the North–South railway run in parallel through the town, forming the strongest lines on the map and fixing the direction in which most streets were laid out.
To the west and north the grid gives way to ridges and hills, where contour-like tracks and quarry roads replace regular blocks and the map opens into irregular shapes.
The cement works and their quarries leave large, geometric footprints on the town's edge, a contrast to the fine residential lanes in the centre.

Koteā ko Bỉm Sơn
For people who grew up in Bỉm Sơn or worked at the plant, the map records a place that rarely appears on souvenirs. The layout is simple enough to recognise at a glance, and it keeps its character in any of the five styles.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date that matters to you, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Classic black and white suits the industrial lines well, while Paper or Sand give the hills and fields a softer, warmer look.
