Te mapa
Bongabon lies on the eastern side of Nueva Ecija, in Central Luzon, where the plains that feed much of the Philippines start to rise toward the Sierra Madre. From above, the western part of the municipality is a patchwork of fields and irrigation canals. To the east, the land folds into forested hills crossed by few roads.
Bongabon is widely known as the onion capital of the Philippines. Onions are a key crop here, grown alongside rice in the lowland fields. The town centre, or poblacion, is small and organised around a church and plaza. Barangay roads spread out from it to the farming communities.
A Bongabon map poster captures a clear division in the landscape. The ruled lines of fields and irrigation channels fill the lowland, the small grid of the poblacion sits among them, and the network ends where the Sierra Madre begins. It is an agricultural town shown on its own terms.
The lowland is divided into small, regular plots crossed by irrigation canals. They create a quiet, repeated texture across much of the map.
The town centre is a compact cluster of streets around the church and plaza. It is the densest part of the frame, and the barangay roads start there.
To the east, the terrain rises and the roads thin out quickly. That gives the map a natural boundary along the mountains.
