Te mapa
Bray sits on the Irish Sea just south of Dublin, in County Wicklow, and its map is dominated by the sea front. A long, straight promenade runs along the shingle beach, with the town's Victorian terraces behind it, while the Dargle river enters the sea at the northern end and the harbour sits beside its mouth.
At the southern end, Bray Head rises steeply above the water, its slopes traced by paths and the cliff walk that leads to Greystones. The railway, now part of the DART line, follows the coast and cuts through the headland in tunnels. James Joyce lived in Bray as a child, and the town appears in his work.
A Bray map poster brings together the straight line of the seafront, the curving river, the grid of the town centre and the wild, contour-marked slopes of the headland. The contrast between the orderly Victorian resort and the rough coast to the south makes it one of the most recognisable shapes on the east coast of Ireland.
The seafront runs in a long, straight line along the beach, bordered by terraces and the main road of the resort.
The headland rises abruptly at the southern end, its slopes crossed by walking paths and the coastal railway.
The river curves through the northern part of town to its mouth, where the small harbour sits beside the sea.

Koteā ko Bray
Bray is a place of family day trips, long walks over the head and commutes into Dublin. People who grew up here or moved away often want the seafront and the headland on their wall.
You can add your own title and subtitle, a date and your coordinates line. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Blueprint shows the coastline especially clearly.
