Te mapa
Cabrero lies in the Biobío Region of central Chile, on the flat central valley between the coast range and the Andes. The town grew around the railway, and from above its streets form a fairly regular grid, with the rail line cutting a clear diagonal through the built-up area.
The Pan-American Highway runs past the town, placing Cabrero on the main north-south corridor of the country. Around it, the landscape is dominated by forestry plantations and farmland, which appear on the map as large, regular blocks separated by roads and tracks. Rivers and streams cross the valley toward the Biobío basin.
A Cabrero map poster shows a town shaped by transport and by the working landscape around it. The straight lines of the railway and highway, the town grid and the broad plantation blocks give the composition a clean, structured look. It suits anyone with ties to Chile's south-central valley.
Tracks run through the heart of Cabrero, a reminder of the town's origins as a railway settlement and a strong straight line across the map.
Chile's main highway passes close to town, forming a long axis that connects Cabrero to cities north and south along the central valley.
Forestry plantations and fields surround the town in large regular parcels, creating a broad geometric pattern around the smaller urban grid.
